IMO, she was an American activist at a
demonstration/protest on foreign soil who placed
herself intentionally in an area that is filled with
violence - military and otherwise. She knew exactly
the dangers of being there and the dangers of her
actions. The West Bank is not the USA and as such,
there are different rules and laws.
That would be like one of you going to Moscow Russia or
Lviv Ukraine and deciding to protest the war in
Ukraine. You would be knowingly risking your own life
and facing either arrest by the Russians or being
killed in the war between the two countries. Placing
oneself in the middle of a war between two countries
will never have a good outcome.

the criticism of israel is that they are not following international law about
protecting civilians in their actions. the west bank is not gaza and still
israeli soldiers gunned down an unarmed american woman taking part in a
protest. i might agree with you if she had gone to iran but she was in the
west bank and gunned down by soldiers of one of our closest allies

we aren’t giving hamas weapons to use, but we are giving israel weapons
they are using to break international law killing civilians. and the human
shields claim falls flat on its ass with israel dropping large bombs on
hospitals, schools and refugee centers and attacking clearly marked aid
convoys. the us has little sway over hamas but we are funding and
supplying weapons to israel that they are using to break international law
which is a violation of us law. and now israel has gunned down an unarmed
american woman

that Hamas gets - Hamas gets most of its weapons from
Iran. The weapons are transported though Egypt and
smuggled into Gaza through the tunnels. But Hamas’
weapons also include AK-47 assault rifles from China and
Russia, and rocket-propelled grenades manufactured in
North Korea and Bulgaria.
Like Hamas fighters are going to abide by international
laws???? So your proposal is for Israel to just not
fight back?????

i doubt russia or iran or north korea care very much about hamas violating
international law. on the other hand the united states does have laws
against supplying weapons to nations that violate international law which
israel is doing. your argument seems to be we shouldn’t expect israel to
stop gunning down unarmed civilians including the american woman just
because hamas does bad things

Lot of that happening over on International. If every international issue
that had Americans involved over somewhere outside of here was on
National, sheesh we’d be swamped.
