Why don't you watch the entire Town Hall Meeting @ link above.

And everyone should, because the left media will never let their audience
know the truth. They either edit it, or just don't allow the audience to hear it.

The sickest thing is, the left wing media knows and counts on the stupidity
of their own uninformed viewers / readers / listeners.

OT, I have tried to watch Hannity. The logical twists
and projections and lies made my head hurt trying to
keep track of the fallacies.

Then the attitude, the deliberate arrogance in an
attempt to foster stupidity in the audience is
pathetic, like watching someone train a chicken to
kill.

Watching the deliberately generated fear leads to the
weak generating arsenals.

It used to encourage anger in me, but no more, now I
pray for wisdom like rain to fall and each to accept
according to their capacity. But expose myself to more
of that evil? No, thank you.

So I went to your link and saw how Rush filled up time
in his show. An excerpt:

"..I thanked him and went on to the next call and the
first words out of that next caller’s mouth (it was a
woman) were, “Ditto to what that guy just said.” So
“ditto” actually means, “I love the show. Please don’t
ever go away. It’s too important. It’s too crucial.”
And then part of it also means, “And you’re always
right, and don’t stop being.” But it really more is an
expression of gratitude for the existence of the show,
which I’m sure you meant as well."

But it is a, to be kind, a misdirection, to be exact,
another out right self serving lie. It's a wonderful
example of the practice to *educate to ignorance* that
Rush took to a fine art for his listeners. Take a word
and make it mean what you want at the moment. Someone
listening thinks now they know what ditto means, it
means you love the show. Webster:

"...the history of the word ditto starts with Italian:
some early 17th century English speakers noticed that
in Italian, ditto or detto was used to refer to a thing
mentioned previously. The Italians had cultivated
ditto/detto themselves, with its origins lying
ultimately in Latin dicere, meaning "to say," but
English speakers were happy to claim it for their own.
So great was the obvious utility of ditto, in fact,
that English speakers put the word to use in ways the
Italians had not thought to do. Adjectival use quickly
followed the adoption of the noun use, and by the
second decade of the 18th century, ditto was also
functioning in English as an adverb and as a verb."

The video of Rush's show that day describing how listeners started saying
Dittos Rush, is quite fascinating considering this current day. And the loss of
Rush a few years back.

After Rush gets through the Ditto stuff, the caller and Rush discuss Human
and or machine elements in the Electoral Collage, during the 2016 election
between Trump and Hilary. And why we must keep the human element.

BTW I know the word "ditto" was not made up by Rush, just used all the time
by callers, to save time. But thank you for the history of "Dittos" origin, I did
not know that. But then again, never had the inkling to look it up.
