Subject: Life is Like a One Hump Roller Coaster


I had to grin when I just heard a 45 y/o, plus or
minus, talk to a younger person, saying 25 years go by
quickly. I thought to myself, wait until you get to my
age, and you'll see it goes even faster.

Like a roller coaster, the start is so painfully slow
(to a preschooler, Christmas takes FOREVER to come
around). It slowly picks up speed. At which time it
reaches the middle, the top (middle age), and as it
passes that top, it picks up speed as it more quickly
races to the end point where the healthiest and the
strongest are lucky enough to have held on so long.
