LOL, yeah, they always have been! While walking in the garment district, I saw a shop with a sign: TAILOR MADE... MEN - $49 (such a deal, I'll take two!) WOMEN - $99 (I guess higher maintenance?) This was long before I had my handy phone camera at the ready, so didn't get a pic. Darn! |

LOL that's funny! I've seen some hilarious ones in my travels and never took a pic of any of them and saw some awesome commercials in different countries...most of which would never be allowed in the US. A funny story for ya...my Dutch boyfriend at the time had his car stolen outside of his home in Algeria. His house was basically an open courtyard with rooms surrounding it. So one had to go out of one room..go outside into the courtyard, to get to another room. Then there was an outer courtyard which sort of parlayed as a driveway/open garage etc. Anyways, his car was stolen (no phones) but if somebody didn't show up for work...others would find out why...soon his co-workers found him at home (too far away from any other houses to walk to) and brought him into town. He filed a police report (sort of) but the police wanted him to provide proof it was stolen out of his courtyard. How does one do that he asked. The police looked at him as if he were a moron...(he was a professor and held two PhD's) and told him to take a picture of the empty courtyard. LOLOLOL SO he did...and then they took the report once a photo of the empty courtyard was submitted. It was never retrieved so when he bought another car...we spent the weekend painting it BRIGHT orange...and he never had a problem again lol. Never had a camera then either! |
