ok, was in dollar general yesterday, empty shelves for
tp/etc. asked the worker about if they were getting any
and he said the truck was supposed to be there at 10,
so come back and if it is there, just 'stay'.
...ok...well last night was a bummer, up and down and
finally slept at 4ish so slept till 11. then up, dress,
eat and head to dollar general. Yeah, the truck was
there. Went inside, no TP. some guy was there unloading
from another truck, isles filled with tons of boxes,
and only a couple of workers in there (we need workers
bad). So asked someone and the truck with the TP had
the lift broken, so they had to call someone to come to
fix it.
ok, so stayed a little bit, one truck person said they
had unloaded a batch down at the other main store. so,
after much thought, I headed down there. Went in, no
TP, but giant batches of paper towels, so what the
heck, got that and a few other stuff. then to the post
office and back to dollar general. The big truck, still
there, the fixer guy in his worker truck on his phone,
maybe trying to google youtube on how to fix it, I
don't know!....so hung out, went in and still no TP.
back to car. by that time since my sleep was so bad, I
was tired and just went home!....'whatever!'
watered plants, put garbage can back away,got out lawn
mower,wouldn't start. tried everything. even plugged
the long extension cord into different outlets..nada.
gave up, put it back away. by that time more tired. so
ate and slept. son got up as I was fixing broccoli, he
got us dinner, then went out and yes, started the lawn
mower and did a batch. came in to see me trying to
start it 'again'. Yes, I seem to be uneducated in lawn
mower starting. yeah, I did it this time and got the
rest of the lawn done, so much nicer when it is cooler
anyway.
Still don't know if that truck got unloaded, or if
there is TP there, but dang it, not getting up at 7am
so I can be there at 8 to hit the special senior hours
to get TP!.....lol..
who knew the world would be taken down by toilet paper?
