Netanyahu sacks defense minister

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has fired his defense minister, Yoav Gallant, an Israeli official confirmed to The Hill.
Netanyahu and Gallant have clashed publicly over the course of the more than yearlong war against Hamas in the Gaza Strip and escalating conflict on multiple fronts against Iranian-backed proxies in the Middle East.

Rumor had it Gallant was taken out by one of the
Iranian missiles. That's complicated if true, maybe
they thought they were targeting someone else and not
the "peacenik". Also if true, some deaths are easier
to hide with a body double than others, maybe many
important individuals weren't buying it. Also if true,
it could be argued that Netanyahu has failed to
retaliate at scale.

That depends on whether they're actually doing their
job, Defense. Seems in certain contexts, nobody knows
the actual meaning of the word.
