as Coates says in his new book, The Message, in early america, there was not a single person of color who was the equal of a "white" man...in israel today, there is not a single palestinian who is the equal of an israeli...it took the civil war in america to begin to address this issue, which is still simmering today...what will it take in israel? how can they not see what they are doing is what has been done to them?

I saw him interviewed last night and he made some very
relavent points.
The whole government there needs to rethink itself.

and yet you can't muster a word of criticism for your own government's
continuous support of the apartheid state during decades of Israeli oppression,
and a year (so far) of record-breaking support for Israel's ethnic cleansing
campaign. Why is that? You do realize Israel's current genocideal campaign
would have been impossible without our approval, weapons and money, right?
But if Trump becomes president in January and Israel is still committing
genocide, you, mitra & others here will condemn the Trump administration for

bullshit..i've commented plenty on it...as have others...i agree though, i don't spew about it 24/7 like you do...why? because the focus now is to get harris elected...to prevent the fat orange turd from regaining the power of the office of the presidency...get your priorities straight...as i said on national, there will be plenty of time to critique and protest against harris after she is elected...at least with her, you have a chance that she will listen to what you have to say...imo..

What will it take?
Conversion.
The Civil Rights movement was led by Christians and
Preachers who played into the entrenched value system
of professed Christians. (Mindful the Southern Baptist
Convention split away because they promoted slavery.
Not all who parade with crosses are Christians.)
As it is anathema that Muslims convert to Judaism or
vice versa, they both must set aside their
tribal/religious antipathies for something higher and
with commonality, like trade. Money.
I don't know if they can do it.
Sadly, that's the goal of Trump and Netanyahu
apparently, to turn Gaza into Monaco, but they had to
get rid of a lot of Palestinians, and they appear to be
on track.
Despicable.

the sad truth is Islam and Judaism (and Christianity) are just slightly different forms of the same basic religious teaching...they are so much more alike than different...brothers fighting brothers...
