Amid all the havoc of Israel’s military operation, more than 40,000 people in Gaza have died, according to the Hamas-run health ministry, which doesn’t distinguish between civilians and combatants. I like Charlie, and feel for him. I just find the juxtaposition between the central tenet that we are suppose to love everyone and his need to love some more than others a bit odd, and one shining a light on may help him, eventually, come to grips with the dichotomy. It's like your emotionally charged position on the plight of the Palestinians in Gaza. I think you're right in pointing out the discrepancies. I also think you are your own greatest enemy in that you seem to have let your emotions blind you to all but the things that tug at them the most. You've excused others their transgressions to suit your agenda and demand that we follow.. and call us names when we don't. As to being a role model? Do I look like I signed up for that part?
