Clearly, Israel's plan to force out Hamas isn't working
as planned.

They miscalculated the humanity of Hamas. Israel
apparently thought Hamas cared enough about their own
people and those children to stop a destructive,
tortuous war. Hamas took lessons from ISIS in cruelty.
They don't care, and are winning the propaganda war,
it's easy to demonstrate in your posts, which never
presents any view but one villain.

Why Israel thinks this strategy of civilian pressure on
a military target will succeed in any way is beyond me.
It appears the longest, most destructive suicide
operation in history, and children are paying the
highest price.

Hamas would have no support.

Hamas surely has more support now. Before this they
controlled food, health, education, employment and
visited ignorance and poverty for years on the people
they were supposed to care. Eighty percent depended on
foreign donations for food.

Even anti-slavery Southerners joined the Confederacy to
fight an invading army.

This was a captive population. Hamas are anti-Israeli
and their fortune made on the backs of Palestinians.

Yes, Palestinians needed a Ghandi, they got a Hitler
who gave contempt and misery to a harvested population.

the zionists saw and lived the horror and inefficacy of this approach in WWII...why they think it will work now is beyond me...there is no logical explanation...emotional reactivity...never leads to solutions...

Of course it's sold with emotions, somehow we must
