"Saudi Arabia demands Int'l intervention to stop
Israel's genocide"

And never mentions Hamas?

Little one sided, don't you think?

Do you deny that Israel, with US support is committing genocide, by any
definition of the word, or are you just pretending? Do you genuinely not
understand Netayahu's & his government's intentions?

You apparently think the genocide that is happening in
Gaza and it's 2 million is worse than the genocide
promised and reiterated in threats against the 10
million Israelis by someone who has the intent if not
presently the power to do so. It isn't.

To get that power they are willing to sacrifice their
own on the supposed altar of Allah, and for some
inexplicable reason to me, Israel is playing along.

Personally I think 70 years of attacks have made people
crazy on both sides.

After Oct. 7, and before Israel invaded, Hamas leaders
were quoted as saying it was just the first of many
attacks. Why would Israel stop before eliminating
Hamas?

Link:
"I Asked Sinwar, Is It Worth 10,000 Innocent Gazans
Dying? He Said, Even 100,000 Is Worth It'
As head of the Intelligence Division of the Israel
Prison Service, Yuval Bitton knew Hamas leader Yahya
Sinwar – whose organization murdered Bitton's nephew on
Oct. 7 – up close"

This 100,000 is the price Hamas is/was willing to pay.
They parade death and injury and starvation, and when
it looks like a checkpoint might open, the throw
missiles to kill more Israelis to make sure it stays
closed.

There is enough food for 1.5 million people for three
months outside the gates. Hamas won't stop the war to
let it in.

There is insanity on bothe sides of this war, it's
replicating whenever you pretend there is only one
valid story to tell.

definitely worse than an abstract, unmaterialized threat. Yes, Mitra.

I note things you mentioned and what you ignore.

Seventy plus years of attacks and wars are not
abstract. The 1200 people killed Oct. 7 don't think
Hamas threats are immaterialized or abstract, the kids
killed or witnessing hell didn't think it abstract.
They thought it was very real. The Palestinians that
didn't sign up for perpetual war or misery don't see it
as abstract. They want/wanted to live and can't.

Hostages?

Who are the hostages: Israelis in captive, Israelis
under constant threat and innocent Palestinians also
under constant attack or threat, starving and for years
kept barefoot and pregnant for fodder and shields for
Hamas.

You aren't pro Palestinian or care for the people or
you would want peace for them, not Hamas perpetual war,
that is all Hamas have to offer. You repeat propaganda
of victims, attributing it to Israelis when Hamas
invited horror and invasion and refuse offers of peace.
You say Israel shouldn't fight the war this way, when
they and their wrath were called by Hamas.

And you ignore that Hamas said whatever the cost to
their own people (even 100,000) it was worth it. Every
death in Gaza is a martyr according to them on the
altar of Hamas.

By repeating again and again Palestinians suffering
without mentioning Hamas participation you give tacit
approval to Hamas aims, the elimination, the genocide
of Israel and Israelis. That threat is not abstract to
Hamas or Israelis who are fighting for their lives, it
drives them both

If Hamas cared for their people they would surrender.
They are having too much fun reveling in the blood and
hate to stop, and cashing the checks, let's not forget
the money, millions and millions stolen from the
tables, the education, the health and economy of
Palestinians for years.

But I keep you from posting the propagandas of the day.

GAZA: CRITICAL AID SUPPLIES TO KEEP CHILDREN ALIVE BLOCKED AS
ISRAEL TAKES OVER FINAL LAND CROSSING - SAVE THE CHILDREN

GAZA, 7 May 2024 – The takeover by Israeli forces of the Rafah crossing and
the closure of the Kerem Shalom crossing are blocking the last remaining
entry points for aid and lifelines for children in Gaza, says Save the Children.

WE STAND SIDE BY SIDE WITH CHILDREN IN THE WORLD'S TOUGHEST
PLACES.

DONATE NOW

The closures will have catastrophic consequences for children and families,
said the aid agency, crippling the already restricted aid response, and putting
thousands more children’s lives at risk. The denial of humanitarian assistance
is a Grave Violation against children, according to the UN Security Council’s
1999 Resolution on Children in Armed Conflict, and illegal under international
humanitarian law.

Since the war started following the attacks on Israel on 7 October, Rafah has
been the primary entry point for aid and fuel entering Gaza, with other land
crossings only partially or sporadically functioning. Even when open, it has
been almost impossible for humanitarian organizations to deliver aid to
families. Save the Children’s recent food delivery to families in northern Gaza
took six weeks of negotiation and planning and four attempts –
demonstrating the impossible conditions aid agencies have been facing.
Starvation must never be used as a weapon of war and is prohibited under
international humanitarian law.

No aid has entered Gaza through the Rafah crossing since Sunday 5 May,
meaning aid agencies are no longer able to get new supplies and assistance
into Gaza. Kerem Shalom has also remained closed for aid distribution since
Sunday evening.

Gaza’s Ministry of Health said in a press conference on Tuesday that the
closure of the Rafah crossing prevented the entry of trucks carrying medicine
and medical equipment, and of fuel needed for hospitals. They also said that
wounded and sick civilians who were supposed to travel today have been
prevented from leaving.

Israeli forces must halt operations in Rafah and open all available land
crossings to allow aid to enter, Save the Children said.

Xavier Joubert, Save the Children’s Country Director in the occupied
Palestinian territory, said:

“'It was hard to believe that things could get worse given the restrictions
already in place - but here we are. Today marks seven months since the
beginning of this brutal war, but also one of the darkest days, as the last
airway for the aid response is choked before our eyes. Blocking aid puts
children`s lives at risk. This assault on Rafah is fatal – the increase in
airstrikes seen so far has already claimed dozens of young lives. Beyond the
direct casualties, one million children's lives will hang in the balance.

All crossing points into Gaza must be opened immediately to full capacity,
and rehabilitated if needed, so that aid groups have safe, unimpeded access
to deliver aid to children and families who need it, wherever they are. Without
access, the aid response will quickly grind to a halt, wiping out Palestinian
children’s chances of survival.

There is still time to stop a ground incursion in Rafah. The international
community must use all pressure possible to uphold their responsibilities
under the Geneva Conventions and prevent the more serious crimes against
civilians and against children.”

Save the Children is calling for an immediate, definitive ceasefire to save and
protect the lives of children in Gaza, and for the warring parties to adhere to
International Humanitarian Law, for Israel to uphold the International Court of
Justice ruling and refrain from actions which undermine the provisional
measures indicated by the ICJ.  The international community remains bound
by their obligations under IHL, and the ICJ ruling, to ensure Palestinians are
protected.

Save the Children has been providing essential services and support to
Palestinian children impacted by the ongoing occupation since 1953. Save
the Children is taking steps to support and protect its staff and continue
helping children and families across Gaza. Save the Children is constantly
monitoring the situation in Rafah to see if and when it will continue its
operations.

why would they mention hamas? it is israel who has killed 35,000
civilians, 2/3 of them women and children in 6 months. it is israel who has
killed doctors, journalists and un aid workers. it is israel who is blockading
gaza and starving those who remain and preventing lifesaving aid from
reaching those who need it. the unfolding human tragedy is on israel and
their actions
