By Palestine Chronicle Staff

For several days, Palestinian Resistance groups have
been issuing statements and sharing videos of precise
operations near the Al-Shifa Hospital.
Israel has invaded the Shifa Hospital before, killing,
executing, wounding and arresting at will.

During the first invasion on November 16, however, the
degree of Palestinian resistance, which desperately
tried to protect the hospital, was not comparable to the
toughness of the Resistance in those areas now.

For several days, Palestinian Resistance groups have
been issuing statements and sharing videos of precise
operations targeting invading Israeli soldiers in the
vicinity of or inside Al-Shifa.

This includes a sniping operation and the blowing up of
several tanks.

Below are the latest statements by the two main
Resistance forces in Gaza, and the Lebanese Resistance
Movement Hezbollah.

The statements were communicated via their Telegram
channels and are published here in their original form.

Al-Qassam Brigades (Hamas)

“Al-Qassam fighters were able to kill a Zionist sniper
with a 12.7-caliber anti-fortifications bullet east of
Al-Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza City.

“After their return from the combat lines, our fighters
confirmed that they had targeted two Zionist Merkava
tanks with two Al-Yassin 105 shells in the Al-Satar Al-
Gharbi area, north of the city of Khan Younis.

“Watch: The operation of sniping one of the enemy’s
snipers with a 12.7 caliber anti-fortification bullet in
the vicinity of the Al-Shifa Complex in Gaza City.

“Al-Qassam Brigades target 3 Zionist tanks and a
personnel carrier with Al-Yassin 105 shells in the
vicinity of Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City.

“Al-Qassam Brigades bombarded enemy forces infiltrating
the vicinity of Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City with
mortar shells.

“Watch: Al-Qassam fighters confront the invading enemy
vehicles in the vicinity of Al-Shifa Medical Complex in
Gaza City.”

Al-Quds Brigades (Palestinian Islamic Jihad)

“We bombarded, with a barrage of regular mortar shells,
a gathering of Zionist enemy vehicles and soldiers in
the vicinity of the Al-Shifa Complex in Gaza City.

“After their return from the combat lines, our fighters
confirmed their clash with a Zionist force holed up in
one of the residential apartments near the “Rif al-
Madina” restaurant, west of Gaza. A number of soldiers’
corpses and wounded were seen being evacuated via a
zionist troop carrier that stopped at the place.

“Watch: Scenes from within the combat training of the
elite Saraya Al-Quds forces in the Northern Gaza Brigade
during the blessed month of Ramadan, the month of jihad
and resistance.

“We targeted a zionist military vehicle with an RPG
shell in the vicinity of Al-Shifa Medical Complex, west
of Gaza City.

“We bombarded with a barrage of mortar shells gatherings
of enemy soldiers in the vicinity of the Turkish
Hospital in the north of the central region.

“Together with the Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades, we bombed
“Be’eri” with a rocket barrage.

“After our fighters returned from the clash areas east
of Khan Younis and in Al-Qarara area north of Khan
Younis, they confirmed that they had carried out a
number of missions:

“Our fighters blew up a tunnel entrance with a Zionist
force that tried to enter the tunnel, confirming that
members of the force fell between dead and wounded in
the Al-Qarara area, north of Khan Younis.

“Our fighters clashed with a Zionist force with machine
guns from point-blank range east of Khan Younis.”

Hezbollah

“In support of the steadfast Palestinian people in the
Gaza Strip and in support of their honorable resistance,
the Islamic Resistance carried out a number of
operations against the positions and deployment of the
Israeli army at the Lebanese-Palestinian border on
Thursday, 21-03-2024, as follows:

“- Eastern Sector:

1- At 14:25, targeting a military intelligence force’s
position in the Metulla settlement, hitting it directly
and causing its members to be killed and wounded.

2- At 20:00 , targeting two buildings used by “israeli”
soldiers in the Ramot Naftali settlement with rocket
weapons, hitting them directly in response to the
Israeli aggressions on the steadfast southern villages
and civilian homes.

“- Western Sector:

1- At 02:25, targeting an Israeli force as it entered
the Zarit barracks with artillery shells.

2- At 14:50 , targeting the Malikiyah site with
artillery shells, hitting it directly.

3- At 17:30, targeting a building used by Israeli
soldiers in the Malikiyah settlement with appropriate
weapons, hitting it directly, in response to the Israeli
aggressions on the steadfast southern villages and
civilian homes.

4- At 17:38, targeting two buildings occupied by Israeli
soldiers in the Avivim settlement with appropriate
weapons, hitting them directly, in response to the
Israeli aggressions on the steadfast southern villages
and civilian homes.

5- At 19:00, targeting a building used by Israeli
soldiers in the Netua settlement with appropriate
weapons, hitting it directly, in response to the Israeli
aggressions on the steadfast southern villages and
civilian homes.

6- At 19:20, targeting the Shlomi settlement with rocket
weapons, in response to the Israeli aggressions on the
steadfast southern villages and civilian homes.

7- At 19:40, targeting a building used by Israeli
soldiers in the Zarit settlement with appropriate
weapons, hitting it directly, in response to the Israeli
aggressions on the steadfast southern villages and
civilian homes.”

Please explain the advantage of Palestine Resistance
and how it supports a population from whom food and
support is denied precisely because of that resistance.
That same "resistance" that started this horror. If
they cared at all for the population they purport to
protect they would let the food and supplies in. Now.

If they would surrender food, health products,
personnel, and other things would flood in. The
hospital would need no protection if the "protectors"
would let the world in to monitor and provide
assistance.

The Resistance gives strength to Netanyahus plans and
gives tortures to the present while denying people of
their future.

What Resistance fighter has starved to death? They hide
behind the starving to bolster the misery.

Glorifying this contest as if it has any honor is
despicable.

israel is digging themselves a very deep hole with their actions...it will be hard for them to get out of it...their recent way over the top reactions have diminished their future more than anything they've done since their inception, imo...

agreed that the future of israel is less secure given what they have done
in gaza over the past 6 months. their reckless slaughter of civilians has
turned many around the world against them and ensured they will have to
deal with terrorist attacks for the next several generations

Netanyahu is in a civil position and is acting as a
defacto general, by nature generals are concerned with
objectives, not the cost. And in Palestine the cost
has been too great. Advantage Hamas.

Hamas was in a civil position and through their
squirreling of military resources, viet cong-ish tunnel
system and shuffle of citizens militarized their
population. Somehow they have convinced the world they
are just freedom fighters who care about the people
they are starving to death with their actions.
Palestinians pay for advantage Hamas.

It would be one thing if there was no hope, no help
forthcoming, but there are people the world around
knocking on the gates to get in to help. Israel could
not keep them out if Hamas surrendered. The aid
workers would experience the devastation of Netanyahu,
and watch what happens going forward. Advantage
Palestinians.

And starvation is worse than "slavery" -- ask anyone
who has been seriously hungry. Hamas is starving the
people who depend on them. If the world was let in
now, peace and Palestinians would have a chance.

but is that true? we keep hearing this shit about people supporting hamas
and now you say they have convinced the world they are just freedom
fighters but there has been nothing to suggest that is true. the world was
behind israel after 10/7 but now 31,000 civilians dead including 11,000
children later people have changed. as far as i can tell no one supports
hamas but the vast majority of people see the slaughter of so many
women and children as wrong

if there is justice in life, israel is responsible for
rebuilding gaza. the city of gaza is historical and
named in the bible in book of kings.

I don't think Mitra believes Israel is anything but a victimized nation. I could
be wrong, but I haven't read anything from her suggesting Israel has
mistreated or oppressed Palestinians in any way.

"don't think Mitra believes Israel is anything but a
victimized nation. "

Then you haven't read any of my posts.
I posted for years for justice for Palestinians,
compassion is the only way to peace for anyone.

And I think compassion is the way to peace now, but a
militarized government sees objectives not people.
That's why we need Trumans to hold back the hands of
MacArthurs. But who will hold back the hand of a
Roosevelt after Pearl Harbor?

Who will say to a population still losing children
(those young soldiers are just children after all) to
Nazis, stop. Don't go to Berlin, the Battle of the
Bulge costs the locals too much. Don't go to Rome, too
many locals have been hurt along the way. Let the
Japanese continue to torture the people of Manila --
they are hungry, don't go to Tokyo.

Let Hamas continue to spread hate and threaten and
poison the peace and lives of another generation?

You love to blame Israel? Blame Hamas. They continue
this war over the starving, uneducated, miseducated,
needy, sick and miserable bodies and refuse to give
back hostages or even bodies for a ceasefire. Blame
Egypt for not letting innocents someplace to go. Blame
Israelis for a failed campaign, but what else would you
have them do?

And you want Israelis to stop? They are afraid to
stop, to feed an enemy that if allowed would cause more
misery to Israel than that enemy has to its own
tortured people.

And it is known Hamas threatens their own as traitors
if they try to open an avenue without them even for
just food or medicine... And they get too those
supplies first. So what, I say, about food, let them
hoard it and let the people see food denied them go to
the predators. Flood it until the world and people
know hunger in Gaza is not a supply problem but a
predator, distribution problem. But they didn't ask
me.

We don't agree because I'm for peace for Palestinians
*and* Israelis. Israelis need to sleep comfortably and
Palestinians need the same peace, free from predators
within and without.

That's the way I see it.

And again, if this is all for cheap labor to build
Jared's Trump Gaza there is no hell cold enough, and
I'm glad I'm not the Jehovah or Allah that has to
judge.

Subject: 75 years without compromise

For 75 years... the Arabs have resisted *compromise*
!?!?!?

"After World War II, nearing the end of the British
Mandate for Palestine, the United Nations General
Assembly in 1947 passes Resolution 181, urging the
partition of the land into two independent states — one
Arab and one Jewish. Religiously significant Jerusalem
is to be under special international administration.
The plan is not implemented after the Arab side rejects
it, arguing that it is unfavorable to their majority
population. Violence in the regional conflict grows.

What is Hamas, and why did it attack Israel now?

Israel declares independence in May 1948. The next day,
a coalition of Arab states, allied with Palestinian
factions, attack Israeli forces in what becomes the
first of several Arab-Israeli wars. In the end, Israel
gains control of an even larger portion of territory —
not including the areas of the West Bank and Gaza
Strip. An estimated 700,000 Palestinians flee or are
driven from their land in what Palestinians refer to as
the “Nakba,” or “catastrophe” in Arabic."
