my guess is the next one will be 5.0+ near San Fernando Valley.

Some Californians asleep at around 2:45 a.m. Sunday were rattled awake by a magnitude 4.2 earthquake centered near the Central Coast. The epicenter was about 2 miles northwest of Aromas, an unincoporated community straddling Monterey and San Benito counties that's about 90 miles south of San Francisco.

According to the United States Geological Survey, the quake had a depth of about 4.59 miles and was felt widely throughout the region according to its user-reported "did you feel it" map. The quake occured near the San Andreas faultline in the Santa Cruz Mountains section.
