Natch the seasoned pros had their sh locked and loaded
instead of partying all weekend, they were prepping.
Gas stations on 91 only, you can leave but word is
possible WEEKS before get back, latest Cal Fire update
says possible shifting winds tomorrow means basically
GTFO now, or takes your chances.
All ground floor intel, local boards I joined etc, this
is not a drill and if you wait for the knock to
prepare...
Also bringing out the good in people too.
I believe they are down to highway 18 as exit. 330 is
done. Barely watch news but that's beyond the Trabuco
canyon fire. Choking here!

If the quakes and this ain't a call to get ready I
don't know what is.

Keeping tabs on Big Bear and all the mountain towns.
I'm on evac warning but the winds are going north east
so where I'm at is ok. I'm so sorry for all those in
the line of the fire and just heard awhile back they
evacuated Green Valley Lake now where I use to have a
cabin. I'm down near Lake Gregory/Crestline now.
Looking out my window right now everything is an orange
color.

Prayers, good mojo etc going out !!! I remember back around 1987 maybe,
my husband was in the national guard and got activated for wildfires in
Weed California. He was gone for about a week or more. He remembers
being in an area working a firebreak area with a tool he had called a
McCloud. They were working with a Native American Indian fire fighter
crew when the winds shifted and they all were fleeing with deer and bear
running along side them. I will never forget that story.
