I have a feeling we will have a major earthquake within the next few months, probably sooner than later at this point.

Maybe...and the 3.9 was a strike slip, very typical of
the Elsinore.It does seem to be having a routine
aftershock pattern.

The major faults are like a large, hot air balloon. The
smaller faults can tighten to lock it closer to the
ground, or fray and break..loosening the hold to the
ground.

Don used to talk about that alot. would be handy to
have some Coulomb stress models on some of these
smaller and moderate quakes to see exactly where the
stress is being loaded (or released from).

Stress is always building, and being released.

Eventually, a big one will hit. When? hard to say.
Mother Earth keeps her own time clocks.

Been putting out alarm bells for a month.
30 day, 60 days back and wow.
Can *see* that squeeze going on, then toss in Japan and
duck.
