John Vidale is a good guy..he used to post here long
ago as well.
I would always recommend tracing a story to it's source
if you can. Nature is a good source.
CNN is rated as "mostly factual"

They're a scientific journal

Read this story a few days ago. It's very real.

Precisely. CNN just happens to be where I learned of the research. I
followed through and sought out the original research article.
I read multiple sources of news and information. All of them can
easily be tagged "unreliable" and/or "biased".
On the other hand, here on Earthboppin I find all sorts of reliable
and unbiased information! (Sorry, Ryan. Couldn't resist!)
