Aloha, I'm on Maui. Haven't posted here forever its been. FWIW Had a dream 2 nights ago. Underneath the pool, the earth was cracking through it. I thought that was strange. But knew it was a warning.
Then last night and all day yesterday had a lingering low grade headache. I knew something was going to give but didn't know where or the volcano was about to rumble soon again.
Lasted over 20 sec...mini constant shaking of the windows and the house creaking. Sigh!

I think Maui feels larger quakes that originate from the south side of Hawaii island more than I do living on the northern end of the Hamakua coast, around Honokaa, on Hawaii. After spending 30 years in Volcano, and feeling everything.. every nuance.. living over here is like being in a seismic blind. And, over the years I’ve wondered if there’s something about Mauna Kea’s structure that doesn’t propagate seismic waves as efficiently as other rock? Just a thought..
My daughter lives in Makawao, been hinting I should move that side for what seems like forever, but damn I’ve been on Hawaii for 45 years.. hard to imaging moving to Maui..
