it is associated with loading of weather systems ... it is associated with ice loading ... it is associated with seismic loading ... it is associated with motion of the core ... a lot of things ... it is the syzygy of a mass of factors ... most unknown ... that makes the earth suddenly topple ... a correctly placed bolide will likely do the trick ... so ... it is just the magnetic field that moves ... or the polar axis and the magnetic field together as a unit?

this is called "pseudoscience" now ... but the evidence for it is immense ... tektite strew fields alone seem to demand notice as a trigger mechanism ... the green glass in the Sahara being a prime example ... immense heat and pressure are required to produce this green glass

to be fair ... no one really knows for sure about anything ... science is all theory ... it only becomes engineering when the theory is proven ... duh

tektites are the main source of evidence for catastrophic events ... strew fields give a sense of the angle of incidence and the direction of the impact ... they seem to correlate with incoming bolides ... like was seen over Russia not too long ago ... just a puppy compared to the monsters that once were
