Dang it! Yes, this is the area I too have noticed seems "locked" on the San Andreas, and unusually quiet, especially considering ALL the micros popping off north and south of it. It is the area just south of Monterey and just north of the Los Angeles basin. Plus all the rain we've had, weighing down the ground.
The Micro's have increased to over 1,000 in just this past week, which seems to be heading for something sizable. Normally micros are around 300 to 500. Now this announcement from NASA about the San Andreas, being Locked and Loaded.
So, this confirms this 6M on the Cascadia this morning, was not "IT". Thus, we are NOT out of the woods yet, and in fact a Major Quake is most likely Coming, based upon NASA's observations and based upon my monitoring of micro quake activity along the San Andreas lately, and the profound uptick in micro activity on the San Andreas in recent weeks.
