since it only rains here at certain times of the year,people are not used to driving in the rain etc..

I'm so glad to see this rain since Cali has had years and years of drought...

there was snow up in Napa the other day,
people were snowboarding among the wineries..

I saw footage how the cattle stranded up in the hills in Humboldt County in the snow, these helicopters threw out pails of hay...good story of the day

been crazee up here marja...coldest winter i ever experienced in these parts...over 825 inches of snow at donner pass so far this winter...most ever recorded! but yeah, certainly a blessing to get all this water...
