Yeah, was reading all the flood watches this morning over coffee. Think we'll be okay where I am..but hope everyone affected stays safe and is careful.

I moved from SoCal Oct. 1996, To So. Lake Tahoe. I'll never forget the week long heavy snow storm, that added 7 ft. to the already 3 ft. Then the week long heavy rain storm started, and melted all the new snow, and left the 3 ft. that was there before.
Not to bad on top of the world, but the Valleys on east and west was terrifying. saw the aftermath on highway 50, and on the east, Reno down the 395 through the Walker river, Devastating.
Reno flooded as well. The airport has 2 ft. of water on the runways and ground floor throughout the airport facility.

Yeah, I think the valleys are bracing. Hope everyone stays safe down there. I do remember those floods. Have lived in Calif my whole life. Often places of great beauty come with true natural dangers. In many cases, those past occurrences are what created the beauty.
Mother Nature can be a bitch, but she also brings the flowers. You have to take note of her mood and act accordingly lol.
