...WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 4 AM SUNDAY TO 4 AM PST
MONDAY...
...BLIZZARD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 4 AM MONDAY TO 4 AM
PST WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...For the Winter Storm Warning, heavy snow expected. Total
snow accumulations of 1 to 3 feet. Winds gusting as high as 45
mph. For the Blizzard Warning, blizzard conditions expected.
Total snow accumulations of 2 to 6 feet. Winds gusting as high
as 60 mph.

* WHERE...Western Plumas County/Lassen Park County, with Blizzard
Warning extending over eastern Butte County and western Plumas
County.

* WHEN...For the Winter Storm Warning, from 4 AM Sunday to 4 AM
PST Monday. For the Blizzard Warning, from 4 AM Monday to 4 AM
PST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Travel will be extremely dangerous to impossible with
extended road closures likely. Blowing snow will cause white-
out conditions at times. Downed trees and tree limbs with power
outages are possible due to heavy snow and gusty winds.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow levels 2500 to 3500 feet Sunday
falling to 2000 to 3000 feet Monday, 1000 to 2000 feet Tuesday.
Periods of heavy snow Sunday with snow showers lingering into
Sunday night. Very heavy snow is expected Monday into early
Wednesday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency.

Travel should be restricted to emergencies only. If you must
travel, have a winter survival kit with you. If you get stranded,
stay with your vehicle.

The latest road conditions for the state you are calling from can
be obtained by calling 5 1 1.

We have 6- inches of snow with more on the way till Weds. it snowed in
Santa Cruz!!!
