if you draw a line on the US map from the ST. also note just to the North of there is where the Keystone pipeline that busted a leak of Tar Sands oil a while back. they released a report today stating the pipe line had bent? this is what caused it to leak. dang that earth movement!

yep, the boot heel is the crossroads that Robert Johnson used to sing about
the Arvidson lineament crosses there going from the straits in the Salish Sea through Chattanooga and Charleston
and the Saint Lawrence lineament continues on just as you suggest
i used to have a link that showed the traces as great circle routes across the continent

NEW MADRID COUNTY, Mo. (KFVS) - Dozens report feeling an earthquake centered in New Madrid County on Thursday night, February 9.
According to the USGS, a magnitude 3.1 earthquake registered 4.1 miles south of Catron at 9:10 p.m.
The epicenter was slightly southwest of the intersection U.S. 62 and Highway W.
The first report from the USGS measured the quake as a magnitude 3.3, but downgraded it to a magnitude 3.0 and then on Friday slightly upgraded the quake to a magnitude 3.1.
As of Friday morning, 60 people reported to the USGS they felt the quake.
Most of the reports came from Portageville, Parma, Catron, New Madrid, Lilbourn and Marston. There were also reports of feeling the quake in Harrisburg, Illinois, Metropolis and Paducah.
The depth of the quake was measured at 4.5 miles.
To learn more about the earthquake or to report feeling it, click here for the USGS website. In addition to Thursday¡¦s earthquake, a magnitude 2.0 earthquake was recorded at 4:49 a.m. on Friday.
The USGS reports this minor quake was centered nearly in the same area, just 3.2 miles southwest of Marston.
No one has reported feeling Friday¡¦s quake.
