And it continues on for another day! I don’t understand why no one here is
discussing this? These aren’t just little 2-3 magnitude they are 4-5’s.

mentioned Rykjanes ridge - see this
"The strongest earthquake in the world today was an M
5.7 in the North Atlantic on the Reykjanes Ridge. It
was followed by a strong series of aftershocks. This
area had been expected to see enhanced seismicity at
this time as the remnants of

Hurricane Fiona passed over this epicenter today. This
summary had expected this at this time in previous
issues of this summary as:

"Hurricane Fiona continued in the North Atlantic today
west of the mid-Atlantic Ridge with winds up to 50 km.
This storm did considerable damage and flooding in Nova
Scotia and Newfoundland, Canada as it hit that region
as the strongest storm in decades in the area. As it
moves past Nova Scotia the remnants are expected to
track to the east reaching the Northern Mid-Atlantic
Ridge in the next day or two near 54N 35W. The
Reykjanes Ridge in this area is likely to see enhanced
seismicity as Fiona passes this area." (September 25-
26, 2022)

HUR FIONA 2022-09-27 00:00 UT 54.9N 34.2W 40
kts Northern Mid-Atlantic

This is the strongest activity within about 200 km of
this epicenter in the Reykjanes area since an M 6.8 on
February 16, 1998. That was the only earthquake in this
region with M>=5.7 in at least 30 years. Forecast
146979 had expected this activity was likely within
about 25 km of this epicenter was likely around
September 26. This activity is at 143 degrees from the
M 7.0 in the Loyalty Islands of September 14, 2022 and
at 101-105 degrees from the M 6.9 in Taiwan of
September and the M 7.0 in Luzon, Philippines of July
27, 2022 and near the sixth node (60 degrees) from the
M 7.6 in Michoacan Mexico of September 19 and was
probably promoted by energy from those source."
