... and that's putting it nicely.
No second explosion 2-3 times more powerful happened.
The radar satellite image of the missing island was in the news already on the 15th, a day BEFORE the alleged second more powerful explosion on the 16th.
Never heard of your source before so I looked into it. Took all of 20 seconds to realize the facts about this guy.
Please stop spreading false information from highly questionable sources.

halturner show is one of those CT/pseudoscience productions for entertainment value only
"Overall, we rate the Hal Turner Radio Show extreme right biased and Questionable based on the promotion of extreme right-wing propaganda, conspiracy theories, and hate. We also rate him Very Low in factual reporting due to an abysmal track record with fact-checking and little or no sourcing of information. it's been around a while (and avoided if you want real facts)

Yeah, I hadn't heard of this Hal guy until this bloke posted. 30 seconds of google told me all the facts I needed.
I also question who this 'jacksson47' person is. Not seen that name here before that I recall. And so far everything they've posted is sourced from places of dubious distinction. Makes me think of all the things CT'ers like to say.... like "what's their agenda?"
Anyway.... whatever. Normally I'd let things and people like this pass unnoticed, but that they are claiming something so profound as a second eruption 2 to 3 times bigger than the first, when there is ZERO evidence of such, other than the statements on these questionable websites.
I mean, really? Now we have gigantic volcanic explosion conspiracy theories? Whiskey Tango Foxtrot.

normally I ignore posts coming from sites like Hal Turner but since yesterday there's been numerous reports of a 2nd large eruption on Monday (that would be our Sunday since it's across the dateline).
AFP originally reported the 2nd large eruption yesterday but deleted it's post on twitter after volcanologists found no evidence - yet.
CNN this morning has this info from it's article at the link:
CNN) — An underwater volcano near Tonga has erupted for the third time in four days, potentially threatening the ability of surveillance flights to assess the damage to the Pacific island nation following Saturday's massive eruption and tsunami.
Australia's meteorological service said a "large eruption" took place at the Hunga Tonga-Hunga Ha'apai volcano on Monday, but no tsunami warnings have been issued.
tsunami.gov issued warnings yesterday because they detected a large wave in Pago Pago, Samoa:
EVALUATION ---------- * SEA LEVEL READINGS AT PAGO PAGO HARBOR REGISTERED A WAVE WITH AN AMPLITUDE OF 36 CM, EXCEEDING ADVISORY LEVEL OF 30 CM.
* THIS MIGHT BE FROM ANOTHER EXPLOSION OF TONGA VOLCANO. THERE ARE NO KNOWN EARTHQUAKES OF SIGNIFICANT SIZE TO GENERATE THIS WAVE.
It wouldn't be unusual for this volcano to have numerous eruptions after that initial blast which is probably the reason NZ, Australia can't fly in relief planes yet because of all the ash.

Yes, there have been some additional rumblings but most definitely NOT the "2-3 times more powerful than the first" type.
There is ZERO evidence for this. Just looks at the satellite images. The first one was pretty awesomely noticeable. You think one 2-3 times bigger would go unnoticed?
And yes, I have now seen the reports on the Pago Pago buoy readings. From what little I gather, no one knows what that's even from. Right now, it could be a false reading for all we know. But that is not evidence of a "2-3 times more powerful than the first" explosion.
It's so absurd I can't believe we're even having to discuss it. Might as well propose that the president is a reptilian alien from Zeta Reticuli in disguise. (smirk)

oh gosh Brian, I didn't catch that the post said 2-3 times larger than the original blast, just saw "Hal Turner" and blew off the rest of the post. Poor Tongans to have to try to survive what could be multiple eruptions for who knows how long but doubt very much any would outdo the 1st one. From a scientific point of view, I'm more interested in climate effects which may or not do anything at all in terms of cooling. I do know it deposited a lot of S02 into the stratosphere which might at least give us some pretty sunsets for awhile. I await measurements from scientists to see what they find.
Fun fact is this; last evening we witnessed one of the most stunning sunsets we've seen in years! I did have to wonder if it was the result of said S02? Good to see your posts again Brian!

Hi all,
It doesn't look like it's causing sunsets in Oregon yet, but here in England, we had an amazing sunset last night and this morning's sunrise was awesome too.
Best wishes, Tone

hi there tone, thanks for the info, been on it for awhile along with several other sites to try to find out if we got hit with S02 on the 16th, the time of the very red sunset on the 16th. Not sure if the S02 showing up on the graph at the link is from ambient air pollution or one or more volcanic eruptions. The Galapagos eruption comes to mind. In any case, what I'd love to know is how much was transported to the stratosphere, not just the troposphere. Scientists say not the ash, S02 went as high as 19 miles, but not yet quantified the amount.
Wish I could post pics of that sunset my son took, none of us have ever seen a sunset like that one!
Don't be a stranger tone!

If you think a request not to spread false information is a command it's no wonder you chose false information that blew up follow-up eruptions several magnitudes higher than they actually were.
You have my sympathy, I too have had mental break downs where even little things cast an illusion that the sky is falling. The eruption at least was a significant event. But believing lies is merely an outlet for minds already prone to paranoiac delusions.
Good luck with healing, it's a terrible place to be. I genuinely wish you well, having been down that rabbit hole before.
