Woke up to this all over the internet when I flipped on my computer this morning.

Good news is, the west coast tsunami seems to be light... .7 feet in Monterey, and no damage at this point.

Hawaii got some larger wave action, but just below damaging effects still.

This scenario is a good example of how other things, not just big earthquakes, can cause a tsunami. It only takes a large displacement of water.
