Since this has recently become my go to symptom for
Malibu, I'm posting fwiw. Previously it was just a large
quake (6+) anywhere.

I do also have mild symptoms like the ones I've had on
and off for the last two weeks preceding the 7 mags.

Hi mimici
I woke this morning to heart palps. Haven’t had them in awhile usually it’s
for larger magnitude quakes. Still no Cali ear, so there’s that! Got a full
moon today.

I had two “ California “ ear tones just now this morning, but they were very
short, like a few seconds and very faint. Almost like a when a tea kettle
starts to first give the faint whispers before the steam builds and it starts
whistling. If that makes sense. That’s the only way I can explain what I
hear.

Hi mimici,

there was a small quake yesterday between Malibu and Point Mugu State Park,

https://scedc.caltech.edu/recent/Quakes/ci40917879.html
https://scedc.caltech.edu/recent/Maps/119-34.html
M1.4 2025/04/06 05:16:35 34.065N 118.901W 11.29 11 km ( 7 mi) NW of Malibu, CA

The little bugger could easily explain at least part of your symptoms.

This quake could be an indicator for a bigger quake where Point Mugu State Park meets the ocean, upwards of m4.5. I commented on this in a discussion with sher when she mentioned her "California ear"

My earlier message:

http://earthboppin.net/talkshop/rollem/messages/23470.html

The USGS-catalog has 7 quakes with m5+ within 50km of
33.674N 118.775W. The earliest event in 1827, at 34n119w is listed as an m6 and the most recent quake in 1981 approximately as m5.5.

According to my calculations a m5-m6 within 50km of your "Cali ear quake" appears quite reasonable this spring, possibly 30km West of Malibu, about 8km south of CA1 at the shore of Point Mugu state park. Your "Cali ear" may in turn become quite busy.

Thanks mimici!
I’ll keep a listen up for my “California “ ear and let you know if it
correlates!!! I’m still having symptoms off and on for Solomon Island but
not as bad as they were Friday night. I still think something bigger is
coming for there also. The storms rolling through my area have been
intense and then the Iceland Atlantic I heard on April 1 was another doozy!
Geez! Take care!

p.s. correction Solomon island symptoms were Thursday night/Friday
morning, April 3/4… it’s always my left knee calf area?
