Initial reports from the Coast Guard surveillance flight indicate that the fissure is now about 700 meters long and has remained relatively stable, although it cannot be ruled out that it may extend further north or south. rt side headache continues for the Iceland/N Atlantic, and the rt shoulder/neck areas and the left shoulder.
and this from spaceweather.com-- affecting the Northern areas.
SOLAR RADIATION STORM--IN PROGRESS: The four astronauts of Fram2 are currently flying through a solar radiation storm as energetic protons from the sun rain down on Earth. It's a category 2 storm, which means it poses no threat to astronaut health. It is, however, affecting Earth. Take a look at this map:
The red zones are places where shortwave radio transmissions are blacked out--a direct result of protons striking Earth's upper atmosphere and ionizing the air 50 km to 90 km above the ground. This is called a polar cap absorption event. Anyone trying to use a shortwave radio inside the Arctic Circle may find that it doesn't work while the storm is in progress.
The cause of this storm is a bit of a mystery. NOAA analysts believe the protons may be accelerated by a big CME, which narrowly missed Earth on March 31st. The CME didn't hit us, but it may be spraying protons in our direction.

We sure got that one Pamela! Thanks for helping me identify the symptoms! I knew the ear and frequency and now I’m understanding the symptoms.

Thanks Sher- also as I was going to bed last night using my walker- sudden stabbing in left shoulder/collar bone grabbed me. That especially indicative for the N Atlantic areas.
