I don't have migraines or MS or exploding head syndrome, and it wasn't painful. It was just like an electric ball of energy bashed me in the left side of the back of my head. I kind of felt like my head was pushed forward by an EMP, but no pain. This was at about 12:03-12:01 pm Pacific time today. I know the time based on a call I started with someone at 12 and how fast it happened. Very odd... Never felt that way before.
I went though a neuro checklist with my husband who was concerned but I have no stroke symptoms either.
Did anyone else feel what I can only call a jolt in the atmosphere??

In the past I have had migraines and weird head sensations brought on from using a cell phone, more intense if the person on the other end was using a cell phone also which was usually always the case.
I have a friend who would call me on the road and be using "OnStar" for navigation (me on my cell phone back when) when he did I got really uncomfortable head zap achy sensations and I asked him not to use "OnStar" when he called me from his car. Alas he would forget and have it on when he called from the car and I would get zapped in the head again. I don't know if I would describe it as electric as far as I can recall but it was a negative energy achy feel.
I only use a land line now and got rid of my cell phone back in 2016. I can do that though not everyone can because their work and such revolves around cell phones, thankfully I am not in that position.

Hi Geeky, Zaps to my head that I would describe in a similar way , are usually associated with a manufactured (non-natural ) event. Usually showing up in the weather- unusually strong winds, etc. Up to a couple hundred miles away from where I happen to be at that point in time.
But also you mention “being on a call” that makes it more concerning.

Yeah it was a work Zoom call, not on my cell phone and not wearing a headset or headphones either. It hasn't happened since. So odd.

You might query "brain zaps" online if it happens again...there are some possibilities listed it may be one of those or none...anyways just a thought.
Take care!

I just got a massive tone and ear block. Now a migraine is coming on. Usually for mid Atlantic ridge. I think there is also incoming from a far side solar flare.
