last night in bed, heard a rt to left ear tone, not sure
if it'll be west of me or east of me..here in SW
Montana. It didn't last very long- which tells me, not
that far away. Rang like a bell though.

that was east of me and bigger than usual for Ok areas.

That was my first thought when I saw the quake. Do you have a fairly
accurate memory of the tone?

Yes it sounded just like someone ran their finger around
a glass to make a bell tone.
