Cobb, Cali. Had to look it up on a map. When I saw it on a map I had one of those sodden "oh, geeze... " moments. You're not too far downstream from Lake Oroville. Well, should you ever experience a large quake (or natural disaster), head immediately for high ground in the hills West of Cobb. Stay off the freeways (death traps if "they"--or a big quake--blows the Oroville Dam. I've never forgotten that the last time an evacuation was ordered because of the imminent (and very deliberate) failure of the dam, the Calif. Highway Patrol closed off all 4 Northbound lanes, while fleeing evacuees were stuck in slow, bumper-to-bumper traffic in the 4 Southbound lanes. Had it not been for the one Sheriff intervening, the dam personnel would have let the dam blow.

BUT The reasoning for mention it’s because sometimes the wine country
is a precursor to what’s gonna happen immediate in the San Francisco
Bay area not immediately speaking though …
